Here is "This Here" A Pop-Up Gallery @ Unblurred @ GA/GI

Alisha B. Wormsley, a prolific artist and arts administrator has curated "This Here" which which will be on view during the May 6 Unblurred at 4925 Penn Avenue. Her recent work as well as art by Lovie Oliva and Ian Johnson are highlighted. This Here is a visual piece for the Afronaut(a) film series and corresponds with filmmaker Shirley Clark's "Ornette: Made in America," a film about jazz artist Ornette Coleman, the music he produced (hear it below), the culture surrounding it and his experimentation. The exhibition will show through May 20th. So if you haven't seen it yet, get your first look during GA/GI at May 6, Unblurred. Starts 6 pm.
